Liberals need a safe place because words hurt, conservatives need a safe place to pee because scary transgender, I’m in the middle thinking “both of you people are retarded”.

Bravery isn’t the absence of fear. Bravery is being scared but going anyway. I’m in the process of writing about the airborne invasion that preceded the amphibious landings. I was going to post something about D-Day, but you did better than I have time for. Also, I’ve been to the American cemetery at Normandy. It’s one of the most moving places I’ve ever been. There’s also a small German cemetery there, too.

For the 70th anniversary PBS had a short program detailing many of the American war cemeteries scattered around the world. It was very interesting.

When these guys were fighting the Nazis, none of them cared whether the guy next to them was a Republican or a Democrat. It’s unfortunate that the party system makes people hate each other so much and promotes a complete unwillingness to work together on anything.

Elimination of parties would be great, because chances are, if a person 100% fully supports every belief of 1 party, regardless of which party it is, there is a good chance they are insane.
